Ensure high quality and well-documented developments in HANA Enterprise for the user stories that are created in the DevOps organization for the ASML Information System.
Job Description
Within the ASML Information System (AIS) program, insights and reports are provided mainly to the Design & Engineering community. AIS serves as a one stop shop for information which is combined from several source systems, with a continuous demand for new functionality.
To enable agile delivery of new functionality a DevOps way of working is introduced. Key building block in the AIS-architecture is a HANA Enterprise environment, but in the future usage of and integration with the BW on HANA environment is expected to become more and more important.
As lead developer you will be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Implement and document required developments in HANA Enterprise for the ASML Information System in an agile/DevOPS way;
- Create required data structures (HANA views) and (SQL)-coding to implement the requirements;
- Provide technical guidance towards other HANA developers in case of complex functionality;
- Lead and implement new innovative functionality in HANA Enterprise (proof of concepts);
- Safeguard overall quality of the HANA Enterprise environment.

ASML - IT - Lead Developer SAP HANA Job Requirements
Bachelors or master's degree in Information Technology or Engineering.
Experience
- At least 3 year of hands-on experience in developing in HANA Enterprise. Creation of views, SQL-logic, access to source systems;
- Experience in implementing information requirements in HANA Enterprise and BW on HANA is a must;
- Strong knowledge of SQL;
- Common understanding of HANA concepts, including architecture, limitations and strengths, preferably has HANA certification;
- Experience with working in an agile/scrum/DevOps way is highly preferred;
- Experience in a quality assurance role is highly preferred.
Personal skills- Strong client-orientation and commitment to excellence;
- A demonstrated ability to perform in high-pressure environments;
- Understands the importance of developing with high quality and according to standards and guidelines and proper documenting of developments;
- Good communication skills;
- Excellent development skills - strong ‘getting it done' mentality;
- Motivated and enthusiastic team player;
- Fluent in English, preferably also in Dutch.
