Junior IT Support Engineer Job Description

Your department
Life Cycle Services is responsible for approximately 20% of Vanderlande’s total income and is growing strongly.  
You will be part of the Maximo Competence Centre, which is a department of the Service Development organization that is responsible for the ongoing professional development of Vanderlande’s life cycle services.
IBM Maximo plays a key part in the management of our services and includes processes such as inspections, preventive & corrective maintenance, service desk, contract management.
The Maximo Competence Center develops and shares the competences regarding Maximo, to enable one way of working in the entire service organization. 

Your position
You, as a Junior IT Support Engineer will be responsible for implementation and support of Maximo in our service organization to manage their maintenance processes.  

Tasks and responsibilities

• Act as a Maximo implementation and support knowledge owner
• Implement and roll-out new sites in Maximo including data loading and preparation of maintenance plans
• Provide education to end-users (hands-on training)
• Provide post go live support to enable sites to adopt Maximo and the Vanderlande maintenance processes in Maximo correctly
• Host periodic review sessions with users to continuous improve this competence
• Analyze functional questions about Maximo and maintenance processes.

Junior IT Support Engineer Job Requirements

Your profile
You are eager to learn and able to adapt. You are accurate and would like to take the initiatives to support others to improve and we believe that the right candidate at least meets the following requirements:

• Bachelor education such as Engineering or IT
• You have experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or IT support
• Experience with CMMS products in an implementation or support role. Maximo experience would be an advantage
• Relevant experience in maintenance operations or engineering in an industrial environment
• You have good communication skills to maintain and build relationships with your colleagues and customers
• Good knowledge of English and Dutch
• Willing to travel internationally up to 50%.
