Senior Engineer IOT (f/m) Job Description

This is your mission:
 
Your responsibility as Senior Engineer IOT is to develop specifications for IOT applications & features for mobile APP- and networking appliances (Use Cases, UX & CX, .etc.) concerning market-, technical- and legal requirements in cooperation with internal and external partners.
You will cooperate with internal and external partners for transfer of requirements, specification & according implementation to bring further to market.
 
Furthermore your will have the responsibility for the following tasks:

• Development of the existing HaierU+ platform to Haier Europe Smart Home solution and integration into interoperable eco systems
• Development of "Big Data" applications (Remote diagnostic, User data,)
• Market-, technology and competitor analysis related to appliances IOT systems & future trends in Europe
• Execution of system tests for connected appliances and infrastructure (network, APP, Cloud)
• Including analysis and determination of failure reasons inside different projects;
• Participation in Cenelec standardization working group for Smart Grid connection
• Active collaboration inside Haier cross functional global teams and stakeholders for connected appliances
• Responsible for HEART local IT management (SVN, Server, IT equipment) in cooperation with Haier Europe Headquarter and 3rd party supports
• Maintenance of own developed PC based tools (Microsoft Windows) for use inside embedded software development and testing inside electronic Lab

Senior Engineer IOT (f/m) Job Requirements

You should bring the following skills and experience:

Successfully completed University degree with focus on information technology (IT) or comparable education (e.g. Informatics, etc.). Alternatively technical studies or technical

• Experiences in the area of Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile APP development
• 3 to 5 years experiences in object oriented software development for embedded system and/or IT system components
• Experiences in testing of consumer oriented IoT/IT systems
• Good Knowledges in network protocols (e.g. IPv4/6, TCP, UDP, HTTP, Wi-Fi) & operating systems (Android, IOS, Windows)
• Basic knowledge for IT back end system (server, cloud)
• Experiences in (agile) project management is advantage

• Good English communication skills
• Team player
• Willingness for travelling
• Independently and reliable working style, high degree  of motivation and load ability
