Head of Occupational Health and Safety Job Requirements
Qualification required
Master's degree or PhD or equivalent relevant experience in the field of engineering, preferably including fire prevention and stored energy management, or equivalent.
Further education/certification as OH&S expert at management level.
The technical competencies required for this post are:
- Knowledge of Occupational Health: application of european directives, swiss and french national rules, norms and standards related to oh&s; crisis management.
- Knowledge Management.
- Quality Management.
- Knowledge of simulation codes typically used in the field of OH&S would be of advantage.
The language competencies required are:
- Spoken and written English or French: ability to understand and speak the other language in professional contexts. Ability to draw-up technical specifications and/or scientific reports and to make oral presentations in at least one of the two languages.
