The job mission of the Continuous Improvement Manager within the Applications Engineering organization is to develop and drive the implementation of the applications efficiency roadmap for the CS Field and Veldhoven (VHV) applications engineering teams in line with the efficiency and quality goals of the three Business Lines (Applications - DUV & EUV).

The role entails defining the way of working together with the field to support the long term continuous improvement programs within CS and represent the applications community in the relevant CS projects.In addition, the Continuous Improvement Manager will be the representative of the Applications community in the Business Line DUV sustaining product team, to ensure operational connection.

Job Description
Continuous Improvement Manager Applications has the following tasks:

• Develop the applications efficiency roadmap for the CS Field and VHV applications community across the three Business Lines;
• Own the Field blueprint and Veldhoven resource requirements needed to sustain the customer performance for all platforms across all Business Lines;
• Transfer and acceptance of NPI products to sustaining (ensuring escalation resources and landing blocking structural issues);
• Own and improve Escalation processes with the Field teams, Development & Engineering (D&E) and Global Support Center (GSC) across all business lines.
• Define the way of working together with the field to support long term continuous improvement programs within CS;
• Represent CS applications community in the relevant CS projects;
• Manage an integrated diagnostic and tooling strategy for the applications community with a team of project leads
• Drive structural issue resolution and management
• Represent Application Community in the DUV Sustaining Program and drive structural issues for the DUV installed base;
• Work with the applications representatives across the three business lines to drive for structural improvement to increase solving power and drive down cycle time of issues within the applications community

ASML - Continuous Improvement Manager Job Requirements

M.Sc. or PhD in Physics, Optics, Electronics, Micro-electronics, Chemical Engineering or IC manufacturing.

Experience

• At least 5 years or more experience in Litho processing or Litho equipment Applications domain;
• Extensive experience in executing improvement projects and (internal) customer communication;
• Experience in managing development and application of diagnostic tooling;
• Experience in executing LEAN projects in a service organization;
• Stakeholder management.
